05 / How it works

One system.
Eight controlled steps.

Every hill needs an individual approach. Terrain, technology, water, drainage, exposure, airflow and operating patterns all shape the final system.

Analyse

Resort technology, water capacity, staffing, terrain, drainage, exposure and the operational objective.

Calculate

Define storage volume, location, technical specifications and the project-specific know-how.

Produce

Make the required snow during winter and prepare it with suitable grooming technology.

Shape + cover

Build the storage pile to the correct geometry, then protect it with specialist geotextile and insulation.

Monitor

Supervise the storage through summer and collect measurements for continued optimization.

Recover

Open the pile, remove the protective layers and distribute preserved snow across the target terrain.

Prepare

Process the surface with appropriate grooming equipment and train local operators.

Repeat

Transfer the know-how to the resort team so the system can be refined and reused season after season.
